AAMI is a medical non-profit organization that I had the pleasure of working with on a 3 month freelance contract. In that time I assisted in restructuring and redesigning their main website. For this project I used journey maps and personas to figure out the best plan of action when it came to developing a new site map. Once we solidified the structure then I made a series of desktop and mobile wireframes and prototypes using FIgma. I then assisted the developers in building out the site using the companies CMS of choice Sitefinity.
FOCUS PROBLEM
Restructure the overall website sitemap and to create a new and clean website that would allow users to find information quickly and easily.

When I first evaluated AAMI’s website, the first thing I realized was that the tone oft he site seemed as if there were multiple voices narrating the content. Also, the site was very text heavy and there were too many steps and clicks needed to find the information that I was looking for.
